This policy covers the apps (not the games) published on Google Play by Locomotive Team: today, Interval Timer (com.locomotiveteam.intervaltimer). Our games have their own policy.
No personal data. The app sends us no personal data of yours, and we hold no record of you on any server of ours. It does not ask for your name, email, phone number, location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone or files.
App settings. On launch, the app downloads its settings (for example how often an ad may appear) from our server. The request contains only the app's name — not your identity, advertising ID or workout data. As with any internet connection your IP address reaches our server; we do not associate it with any user and it is kept only in short-lived technical logs.
This does not mean no data is processed in the app: the ad providers (Appodeal and its partners, or Google AdMob) collect and process data from your device on their own behalf (section 3). Our Google Play Data safety declaration reflects the same: advertising ID, approximate location (from IP), in-app interactions and diagnostics.
Interval Timer stores your timers, your workout history (the date and the minutes of each session), your XP, goals and settings only in the app's own storage on your phone. Voice announcements use your phone's built-in text-to-speech. None of this is sent to us or to anyone else.
Data on your phone is kept until you delete it: uninstalling the app, or clearing its data in your phone's app settings, removes all of it at once. We keep no copy. The settings download uses HTTPS and carries no personal data; its technical logs are short-lived and rotated away automatically. Data processed by the ad providers is kept and secured under their own policies, linked below.
The app is free and funded by a small number of ads. Ads never appear while a timer runs. Each time the app starts, it picks one of two ad providers to request ads from:

This data is collected and controlled by the ad providers. We see only aggregated, non-identifying reports — how many ads were shown and what was earned. We cannot see what any individual user did.

Where the law requires it, a consent form (built on Google's User Messaging Platform) is shown before the first ad request — Appodeal's when Appodeal serves the ads, Google's when AdMob does. You may accept or refuse personalised ads, and change your choice later under Settings → Ad privacy choices in the app. Refusing does not affect the app — only whether ads are personalised.
Device-wide, you can reset or delete your Advertising ID under Settings → Google → Ads.
The app is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe we hold data belonging to a child under 13, write to us at the address below and we will review and delete it.
We do not sell personal data and do not share it with third parties for marketing. Beyond the advertising described above, your data is not transferred to anyone. We disclose data only where legally compelled to do so.
Under the GDPR and Turkey's KVKK (Law No. 6698) you have the right to access, correct or delete your data, and to object to its processing. Because we collect no personal data from you, we hold no record to delete; your workout data is on your phone, under your control. For data held within the advertising infrastructure, requests go to the relevant ad provider (Appodeal or Google) — the links above explain how. Write to us regardless and we will help.
This policy will be updated before any feature that changes what is collected (an online backup, for example) is released. The "last updated" date above changes when it does, and a significant change is also announced inside the app.
